Water Landings 2011

Commissioned by the Water Resources Administration Building

12ʼ(h) x 5ʼ (l) x 5ʼ(w) / Powder coated aluminum, Lighting

Landscape Architect: Hunter Booth

Landscape and dragonfly sculptures are created at the entrance of the Water Resources Administration Building. The dragonflies were placed as a metaphor for the presence of clean water, since they are considered to be natureʼs water quality monitors – clean water brings dragonflies back to the environment. The landscaping consists of indigenous low maintenance plants compatible with reclaimed water use.
