Bronze
The Bronze Age is a historical period followed by the Stone Age and preceding the Iron Age, during which bronze weapons and implements were used.
Inspiration of the bronze light bulb came from three sources: (1) the shape is similar to a shape of grenade, one of the oldest weapons used in the 8th century Byzantine Empire; (2) the imminent reality that the incandescent light bulb, one of civilization’s most epic achievements of the 19th century, might soon be phased out (being replaced by more eco-friendly lighting technology) and (3) honoring the humble shape.
